Keep
Winter Park Beautiful
The Keep
Winter Park Beautiful Division (KWPB) is responsible for the
implementation of the KWPB mission as well as the coordination of
all volunteer projects within the city. This is currently being
accomplished through the efforts of Dave Plotkin and the KWPB board.
KWPB’s mission is to educate, motivate and assist individuals
and groups to take greater responsibility for their community environment.
This has been accomplished through various programs including the
much expanded Great American Cleanup, on on-going City Neighborhood
support, through beautification programs including the Civic Center
Fountain and Golf Course sign, through the required litter index
completion, continuing Farmer’s Market Brick Sales, and the
City of Winter Park Map Sales. KWPB assists addressing the Winter
Park City issues related to finding alternative funding sources
and the goals relating to enhancing Central Park and the tree canopy,
as well as promoting a positive image of Winter Park.
This division is also responsible for the coordination
and documentation of all volunteer projects held within the city.
This is a huge undertaking given the high level of involvement and
participation our city enjoys.
