and Seal
The Test
& Seal Division provides the productive, cost efficient
inspection and internal rehabilitation of the wastewater collection
system.
The division is comprised of three distinct sections:
the TV inspection section, the chemical grouting (test & seal),
and the short lining section.
The TV inspection crew performs the physical cleaning
of the designated portions of the system utilizing the Vac-con followed
by inspection with a closed circuit TV system. The complete inspection
process is recorded on videocassette, and a written TV inspection
report is generated and logged into a computer data file. This allows
for review and evaluation of inspection results for determination
of rehabilitation efforts to follow. This crew is also responsible
for the TV inspection of new construction, for acceptance by the
City.
