Pollution Prevention (P2)
One of the program’s projects is called Pollution Prevention (P2). P2 was a plan originally developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and helps address issues such as energy, water, air and waste.
The City of Winter Park is working with Orange County while developing reduction plans in effort to conserve more water, become more energy efficient, cut down on waste, and improve air quality. This project will help the city save money in the long term which is a high priority.
The plan will also include local businesses and citizens, so join the city in these efforts so everyone can reap the benefits! More information to come.
