Transportation

Alternative fuel vehicles
The Fleet Management Department has started replacing older vehicles with hybrid and electric plug-in vehicles in order to save money on gas as well as to cut down on pollution.
Walking & cycling

The Pedestrian & Bicycle Advisory Board has worked with its city liaisons to develop a Pedestrian & Bicycle Circulation Plan (PBCP) to better accommodate pedestrians and cyclists. The PBCP plan includes all sidewalks and pedestrian pathways, shared-use paths, bike lanes and signed bike routes. Riding your bicycle allows you to exercise, save money and improve the environment all at the same time!
For more information on walking or cycling in Winter Park, please visit the
